Cisco Systems Catalyst switches acts as the core network router providing the network connections to every customer in CLEAR LINK's data center. CLEAR LINK Networks maintains a spare chassis, supervisor cards and line cards that can be used and is able to provide backup in the event of partial or complete failure of the unit. Each Catalyst has two redundant management cards and power supplies that are built-in and operate continuously in the event of failure.
