CLEAR LINK's data center facility is connected to a three phase Tier-1 restoration power grid and has uninterruptible power systems (UPS) and natural gas generator backup. The fully redundant power includes N+1 battery back up plus an on-premise natural gas generator ensuring stand by power to the CLEAR LINK's Data Center and Network Operations Center. The generator supplies power to only to CLEAR LINK's Data Center and NOC and supports all life safety and HVAC systems. Full on-load tests are performed weekly on the UPS and generator systems and power consumption readings are reviewed and documented on a monthly basis. Temperature, relative humidity and airflow monitoring indicators are connected to CLEAR LINK’s NOC systems so that personnel are notified and dispatch tickets created to remedy any concerns before any critical-levels are reached. Additional cooling fans and key components have been purchased and are inventoried at CLEAR LINK’s on-premise storage locker. |
